JOHNSON & ACETO, LLP has extensive experience in the area of criminal defense. The criminal defense practice group is dedicated to providing first-class legal representation at reasonable rates. The group tries cases in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts and various other states.
The practice group provides a defense to individuals charged with crimes ranging from assault and battery, operating under the influence, drug crimes, homicide and various white collar crimes.

Gregory J. Aceto, head of the practice group, has been a trial attorney for fifteen (15) years, the first two of which were as an attorney at the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker in Los Angeles, California and more than three (3) subsequent years as an associate at the Law Offices of J. Albert Johnson & Associates in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to private criminal defense work, he was a bar advocate in Norfolk and Suffolk Counties acting as a public defender to indigent defendants. He has successfully tried and defended criminal matters to a jury in Norfolk, Middlesex, Plymouth and Suffolk Counties in Massachusetts.
