Family Law and Domestic Relations

JOHNSON & ACETO, LLP has extensive experience in the area of family law and domestic relations. The family law and domestic relations practice group is dedicated to providing first-class legal representation at reasonable rates, while providing the proper personal attention and responsiveness that the client requires.

The practice group focuses on divorce and custody disputes with specialized training and experience in negotiation, litigation, taxation, property and business valuation, and the various rules and procedures of the Massachusetts family court systems. The practice group assists clients in all aspects of Family Law and Domestic Relations, including but not limited to divorce and legal separation, child custody and visitation, removal issues, child support and spousal support, restraining orders, paternity, adoption, prenuptial agreements and post-nuptial agreements.

In the unfortunate case of incapacity on the part of a family member or loved one, the group counsels and represents the client/petitioner in an action for a permanent and/or temporary guardianship or conservatorship. In lesser situations, the group will prepare and effectuate other legal documents, including but not limited to durable power of attorney, general power of attorney, and health care proxy, depending on the exigency of the circumstances.
